Student Support Resources: What are they and how do you use them?

As faculty and staff we all take on the responsibility to provide students with the resources available to help them succeed and thrive at Daemen. When we work together to raise awareness of these resources and actively support their use, we create an environment where students feel empowered, valued, and prepared to meet their goals. By fostering collaboration and promoting access to these tools, we uphold our commitment to academic excellence and community well-being.

The Instructional Design Team created a package of Student Support Resources for faculty to import directly into their courses on Blackboard. Several Specific Review Standards (SRS) for Quality Matters are met by including this resource package into your course. All of the resources are linked to the appropriate webpage for easy access.

  1. Review the instructions on how to Import content into a course.
  2. Download the Student Support Resource Package zip file.
  3. Import the file into your course on Blackboard.
  4. After the contents are imported, check each page and make sure they are visible (unhidden).

Reach out to the Instructional Design team with questions or if you need assistance importing the package into your courses.
